Man reveals horrific moment woman sexually assaulted and demanded to sleep with him at a party after taunting him when finding out he was gay

A film-maker has revealed the horrific moment he was sexually assaulted by a woman who taunted him when she found out he was gay.
Frank McGowan was attacked by Cheryl Cottrell at a house party in Glasgow in May 2015.
Frank recalled how Cottrell made "several sexually inappropriate comments" towards him when she found out his was gay before she then asked if he would sleep with her.
She refused to leave him alone and followed him into the kitchen when he went to fetch a glass of water.
He told the Daily Record: "I just wanted to get away and asked her to back off.
"She was getting angry.
"Something fell from the unit and I bent down to pick it up - that's when she pounced by violently pushing her fingers inside me."
Frank then added: "I was bleeding and felt like I was being raped by this horrible woman."
Cottrell denied attacking Frank but a jury found her guilty of sexual assault in August following a trial at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
She was placed on the sex offender's register and ordered to carry out 120 hours of community service.
Frank, who was nominated for a Bafta for his film Looking After Mum, has now decided to waive his right to anonymity in order to help other victims after he experienced suicidal thoughts and suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder following the incident.
He is supporting the GET IT TOGETHER campaign in partnership with Mental Health Foundation Scotland which aims to encourage more people to share their stories.
In Scotland rape is defined under the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009 as penetration by a penis without consent which means women cannot be tried for rape.
According to Rape Crisis Scotland under this law, the use of fingers to penetrate does not count as rape.
