And Miley Cyrus looked every inch the all-American girl as she stepped out in New York City on Sunday night.
The singer, 24, slipped into a pair of tight cropped jeans and a simple navy blue tee as she headed out after speaking about her much-documented split from fiancé Liam Hemsworth, 27, back in 2013. The former Hannah Montana star - whose father is the Achy Breaky Heart singer Billy Ray Cyrus - completed her outfit with a pair of black Nike sneakers.
The actress had modeled a similar look - plus a baseball cap - when she posed on Instagram this weekend with her sister Noah Cyrus, 17, and pop princess Katy Perry, 32.
Noah is currently supporting Katy on her Witness world tour.
'Sisters . All 3 of us,' Miley wrote in the caption, adding a string of heart and puckered lips emojis.
In the photo, Miley and Noah were dressed in the same outfits they wore to play Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday with Billy Ray.
The family trio were opening on Friday night for Katy, who wore a gleaming gold mini-dress and matching boots onstage.
Appearing on The Howard Stern Show last week, Miley held forth on why she split from Australian actor Liam in 2013 before re-starting their engagement last year.
Of breaking up, she told Howard: 'I had to. I don’t like when relationships are two halves trying to make a whole.'
Miley explained: 'So, I don’t think that I have that co-dependency. I think people that break up and get back together, that's awesome.
'You get time to be yourself. You get time to grow up. I think if you’re growing up attached to another person, you never really get solid as your own being.'
Having met Liam when they played opposite each other in the 2010 movie The Last Song, Miley admitted she worries when he has an attractive female co-star.
Luckily, when Liam goes off to the set, she said: 'I keep my little spies, so I don't always have to be there.'
