Plane passengers dubbed 'the bravest in the world' will this afternoon board flight 666 to HEL on Friday the 13th.
The Finnair flight from Copenhagen, Denmark to Helsinki, Finland has spooked passengers suspicious of the devil's number for 11 years.
But the airline is changing some of its flight numbers meaning this is the last time flight FY666 will depart on the 'unlucky' day.
The flight is departing at the 13th hour, taking off at 1.20pm and lasting for one hour and 35minutes.
A Finnair spokesman said: 'Today will actually be the final time that our AY666 flight flies to HEL.
'As of October 29, some of our flight numbers in our network will change and our AY666 flight from Copenhagen to Helsinki will change to AY954.
'In 11 years, we've flown 21 times the AY666 flight to HEL on Friday the 13th.'
'If there's some passenger who is anxious about this 666, our cabin crew is always happy to help them.'
The last time the flight happened on Friday the 13th was in January.
Flight tracker Twitter account Flightradar24 poked fun at the coincidence, saying: 'Would you dare to sit in row 13, on board Finnair flight 666 en route to Hel on Friday the 13th?' Triskaidekaphobia is the fear of the number 13, which dates back to the late 1800s.
A specific fear of Friday the 13th is called Paraskevidekatriaphobia, which derives from the from the Greek word paraskeví meaning Friday, and dekatria meaning thirteen.
But it seems most Britons aren't sufferers as the number of flight bookings for today was 12 per cent higher the average day this month, according to flight booking site Kiwi.com.
Six hundred and sixty-six is called the 'number of the Beast' in chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation in the New Testament of the Bible.
